Christina Augustesen schafft minimalistische Lichtinstallationen, die das Zusammenspiel von Farbe, Licht und Raum erforschen. Mit farbigen Acrylplatten behandelt sie Licht zugleich als Material und als Phänomen – ihre Arbeiten machen subtile Lichtveränderungen sichtbar und erzeugen immersive, atmosphärische Erlebnisse. Aufbauend auf Strömungen wie The Light and Space movement und Colour Field Painting verbindet Augustesen industrielle Präzision mit meditativen Farbräumen. Ihre Werke verstehen sich als sowohl Objekt wie auch Ereignis und reagieren sensibel auf den jeweiligen Ausstellungsraum. Sie laden dazu ein, nicht nur zu sehen, sondern zu wahrnehmen – und eröffnen eine stille, intensive Erfahrung von Licht, Raum und Körper.
